I recently visited the Classic Motor Hub. The Classic Motor Hub is a five acre site set on the former RAF Airfield RAF Bibury and was formerly home to RAF Squadrons 82 (Hurricanes) and 92 (Spitfires). From 1944 RAF Bibury was then given to Maintenance Command and the site was used for storage until 1950.
Martin Chisholm, the owner of the Classic Motor Hub has a wealth of experience with classic cars working for various auction houses over the last 30 years. This lead to Martin gaining a vast amount of knowledge, experience and contacts. In 2016, Martin opened the Hub.
The Classic Motor Hub has something for all petrolheads, if you are not buying or selling cars, they offer storage facilities and the shop has a wide range of gifts and accessories.
During the year, The Classic Motor Hub also hosts events for clubs, customers and enthusiasts, the first one of 2019 will take place on new years day. These events are well worth going to if you are able to.
Below are the photo's I took during my visit.
This is my second visit to the Classic Motor and I love it. The RAF buildings give the Hub a special ambience that few places I have visited have. They have a wide range of cars on offer my favourite being the ex Innes Ireland Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Although this is a recreation you can't help but love it.
