London Classic Car Show 2020

I attended the London Classic Car Show 2020.
The home for this years event was the Olympia London in Kensigton, a smaller venue than last years London ExCeL.
Due to the change in venue, the Grand Avenue feature was replaced with the Car Stories stage. This would showcase a car and have a guest interviewed by Max Girardo. The cars and speakers were:
Aston Martin Goldfinger DB5 Continuation by Paul Spires.
Dussenberg Model J and Bradley Mauger.
Richard Lloyd Racing Rothmans Porsche 962C and Tiff Needell.
Lotus 49 and Adrian Newey OBE.
Aston Martin Vanquish 25 and Ian Callum CBE.
Maserati 250F and Mark Hales
The show would also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Audi Quattro and the 50th anniversary of the Range Rover.
There was also a tribute to Bruce McLaren that featured some of his cars, his racing jacket and helmet and some of his trophies. On the preview evening, Bruce McLaren was honoured with the Icon Award.
Coys Of Kensington hosted an auction of historic cars.
Alongside this were several classic car dealers with there finest cars for sale, various car clubs from around the UK and trade stands with items for sale
Upon arrival at the Olympia, I was impressed with the range of cars on display and also enjoyed the interview between Max Girardo and Ian Callum CBE.
My favourite cars on display were the BMW 320 Group 5 car on Duncan Hamilton Stand and the green De Tomaso Pantera showcased by The Classic Car Company.
Although not yet a classic car the Jannarelly drew a huge crowds throughout the weekend. This car will be one to watch out for and a definite future classic.
Below are my highlights from the show.

If you like classic cars then the London Classic Car Show is an event you should get to, I think the car stories stage was brilliant and I hope they bring back Max Girardo to do the interviewing next year as he is hugely knowledgeable and conducted great interviews.
An idea for next years show, I would like to see a car collector interviewed along with some of the cars from their collection. They could highlight what ignited there love of cars, how they came to own the cars and how they live with them.
