I was recently invited to look at a the car collection of @HenryFyer. Not wanting to turn the opportunity down, I met the owner and was driven to where the cars are kept have a look. Below are the photo's

I made a remark about the Mk II Jaguar being the getaway car of choice for TV gangsters. Imagine my surprise when @HenryFryer told me of how he came across this car. The family were on a farm looking at horses when @HenryFryer's brother who did not like horses, wandered into a barn to see the back end of this car sticking out of a stack of hay. When they questioned the owners wife about it she said that they could have it as it belonged to her husband who worked as a banker in London and had cheated on her. She got angry and drove it into the hay. £50 was given for the Jaguar that day. When they got it back to their garage, they found a piston had shot through the casing due to high revs and in the back under a blanket was a shotgun. A banker eh??

Austin 7, This one is in full running order and was recently taken to Beaulieu for an owners event.

This Austin has had a tough life, in the 1960's this car took work in an Austin owners world tour.  

This Austin had a 12 volt battery booster pack put in the early 1980's. As the battery as the electric system in this was 6 volts it overloaded the electrics this car has not run since then. @HenryFryer did try a new 6 volt battery but nothing electrical worked,

Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. This needs a repair to it's fuel pump.

When the insurance company asked if this MG had any audio equipment, @HenryFryer said yes. The person on the phone then said it probably would not be covered in the insurance due to the car being convertible. The owner then said the equipment was only worth about 50p. The insurers then said it would be covered.
