Classic Motor Hub June Coffee and Classics

I attended the June Coffee and Classics meeting at The Classic Motor Hub in Bibury. A wide range vehicles turned out for what was a fantastic morning of classic cars and great company, although the weather for the event was a bit hit and miss, more miss. The weather however did not dampen the mood. I spent some time at the event speaking to Martin Chisholm who owns the Classic Motor Hub about the cars at the Classic Motor Hub and the events they have.. Henry Cole was also in attendance at this event came on a Custom Norton based on a cafe racer.

Below are my highlights from the event and from the Classic Motor Hub

Inside the Hub

If you like cars or bikes, I cannot recommend the Classic Motor Hub enough. They always have  wide range of vehicles turn up for events and they have a wide range of cars in the Hub to look at. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and the food and drink is great.

Steeleford Supercar Show

I attended the first Steeleford Supercar Show hosted in the grounds of Stansted Park in Hampshire.
This show came about as a result of Drew Steele and George Egford going to car shows and deciding to try their hands at organising and hosting a car show.
To start off with the location, Stansted Park is a stunning house set in 1800 acres of parkland and ancient forest in the South Downs National Park. They have some fantastic food vendors, trade stands and a face painter to keep families entertained.
And then there were the cars, not the biggest amount ever seen at a car show but a wide range of cars to keep enthusiasts busy. From Ascari to Porsche and many other marques in between were in attendance.
Below are my photo's from the event.

My car of the day, this stunning Ford GT40. Yes its a recreation but everything from the colour to the engine was perfect.

To conclude, this event was a great start to what will hopefully more events in the future.
Speaking to both Drew and George, they want to put more events on and I wish them the best of luck. They would like to use Stansted House as a venue again, the owner had been very friendly and helpful towards them.
Monies from the tickets of the Supercar owners will be donated to the MS Society charity.
