Noggin, Nosh & Natter at The George, Longbridge Deverill.

Photo from The George's website, permission given by Laurie Creighton, Manager of the George Inn.

I recently attended the Noggin, Nosh and Natter event at the George Inn, Longbridge Deverill, this event is held annually on the last Wednesday of July.
It began 37 years ago as an event for vehicles of interest by John Pomeroy that had 4 vehicles attend and has since grown into a huge event with commercial vehicles, steam engines, motor bikes and cars that use the pub car park and the surrounding fields to exhibit.
As well as the vehicles, there were lots of different food and drink vendors and a park for children to play in.
Below are my photo's from the event

Mind if I drive??

This Vauxhall Victor Deluxe F Series 2 was my car of the event.

This Austin is doing well for a 91 year old truck.

What can be said about this event, it was packed, the event was not due to start until 4pm, the first vehicle arrived at 8am. By the time I left, loads more were going in.
There are lots of different food to try from the food in the pub to barbecue, chilli and more.
Great atmosphere at the event, owners happy to chat about their vehicles.
I'm looking forward to next years event.
Thanks to Laurie Creighton for allow me to use the photo.
